Question:

Help with JVC TV?

Hi,

Im trying to connect a sony amp (for a surround sound system) to my JVC Model AV-32WFP1EK but although I have connected them via audio output on the TV into the audio in on the amp the sound quality is bad and lacks the punch the system had when working with a previous TV. Admittadly, not having the manual doesn't help but I don't particualrly want to buy one. If someone could give me a step by step guide that would be brilliant.

Thanks in advance!

  1. I can't help you but maybe you can go to both of their web sites and see if you can have a look at their manuals.  I bought a tv, dvd and a digital box from a friend and it didn't come with a manual.  So I just fiddled around with the wires.  It isn't the best but it is the best I can do.  So good luck

  2. You have un-matched impedance in your system.  You gotta find a way of routing all the audio to your amp. Get the manual ;-)

  3. Can you define "bad" as this is somewhat subjective.

Perhaps there are audio output options on the TV that require setting up?  You should be able to go through the online menu of the TV to check that out.
