Help with Kickflips?

I just started skateboarding and i got the ollie down and the pop shuvit bs and fs but now I'm trying to learn the kickflip but i cant i have a few problems

1.When i flick my front foot keeps touching the ground before i have a chance to bring it back

2. If i try to bring it back over the board the board flips right into my shins giving me like 10,000 bruises and it really hurts

3. when i really try to bring my front foot on the board my back foot touches the ground immediately

how do i bring my front and back foot over the board to land

  1. Okay here goes

    1. gain height before you flick your foot.

    2. jump over the board if you get my meaning instead of bringingyour foot over.

    3. your back foot should not come off the tail apart from when you jump,

    the second you see the grip tape, slam your feet down (this can be EXTREMELY scary, but its the best way to land without injury)
