Help with Med cruise .?

I'm planning on taking a Med cruise next year. I'm really only going to pay for my airfare so that's what I'm most concerned about. What's the best month to go as far getting a good rate on air, is it lower to fly into Barcelona or Venice? When is the weather the best? What about the crowds... what's the high season? Also how much should we expect to spend on food\ attractions etc.... ( do most of the museums & sites charge an entrance?). I'd appreciate your opinions & personal experiences. Thanks.

  1. April & May are the best times to avoid the heavy crowds. Barcelona would be your best airport to change over. Venice's airport is very crowded and is not a good jumping off point for a Med Cruise. You can catch them there, but wouldn't it best to go to an easier location such as Barcelona. June through early September is always the High Season in both locations. Daily costs might hard to add up with the Euro to Dollar exchange rate, its not cheap overhere. You can get prices from Hotels for trips in the areas you are interested in which would be your best price package.
