Help with My DLINK Router?

i am not very good with computers that why i need help, first of all i was told someone has put a password on my own router becuase it was not secured, i have no idea but i was told to reset my router, i have no idea how to reset my router, if its pulling the power to the router out then back in ive tryed that? but i would like to reset the whole thing and start all over again but i have no idea what to do if anyone can help me please respond (my router is a DLINK DSL-G604T and i use Vista on my laptop)

  1. There is small reset button, at back beside power inlet.

    Reset Button: Resets the DSL-G604T

    to the factory default settings. Hold for

    seven seconds for the unit to factory

    reset.

  2. Look for a tiny hole on the back of your router. It's small enough that you have to use a safety pin to reset it.  Unplug your router get something really small like a safety pin or toothpick and put it inside that little hole. You will feel it pressing in a button and then just plug the router back up and try to get it to work again. Good Luck!
