Help with NYC Hotels!?

I want to stay in Manhattan for a reasonable rate ($100-$150). Any hotels you can suggest or recommend?

DONT STAY IN A HOSTEL. I did it once and will NEVER again.

Either pay a little extra and stay in a real hotel, or stay out near Newark airport in a nice hotel for that the same price as a dirty shared hostel.

Nothing is even close to 100-150$ n NYC without being a hostel or total dump. 200 is about bare minimum and that will not be nice either. Decent hotels are ussualy starting in the 250-300 range.

$200 is the best you can do in NYC...stay in Newark NJ and take the ferry across fo $10.

My friend, you may want to go farther north, to the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Hotels there are close to your price range. Please check the link below.
