Ive started skateboarding and I'm learning the Ollie. Ive seen videos etc and people can get really high. I need to know how I can jump higher on the ground. I know that the farther your front foot back the higher the board can go. Off the board I don't seem jump high.

How can I jump higher?

  1. don't put your front foot too far down the deck, it should be at most half way down but that's still alot.

as you pop the tail of the board and slide your front foot up lift your back foot off the tail, just like your jumping if you do it properly the tail sould come up with your back foot giving your ollie alot more hight.

also use the balls of your feet to pop and slide because it gives you the most power.

  2. practice skate a lot

  3. When you pop the tail, and drag your foot up the board, try to jump higher and bring your legs ight up to your chest. You should bring the board up with you. You ollie as high as you can jump with more practice.
