Question:

Help with Open University - moving abroad?

Hi there. I have been offered the opportunity to move to South Korea with my boyfriend and I wanted to use the time to start an open university degree (he can half support me so I would work part time). I would be starting the course in the UK and then moving, and I have looked on the web for info on this and it says that I may have to pay more if I move aborad. How would they actually know I moved? My base address would be my mums and I would be returning regularly (about every 3 months) for a week or so, so do I need to declare this to them? I don't want to do anything illegal/against the rules, but at the same time, I dno't want to create more hassle for myself.

Also, I want to study History of Art and it says that I can't study that in Korea as it is not on the list on countries where this course is available, but if it is home/distance learning, shouldn't I be able to study wherever in the world I am??

Any help from experienced open university students would be appreciated.
