Help with PS3 accessories?

Im getting a ps3 bundle tomorow.. This is going to sound stupid but im worried because it sounds so simple :P Is there anything extra i need to buy to play online.. I have wireless modem etc.. It just says

Comes with the new DualShock 3 Controller! The PlayStation 3 80GB model does NOT feature:

Backwards Compatibility with PS2 Games

Memory Stick Card Readers

SACD Playback

Ethernet Cable

4 USB Ports, (The PS3 80GB model features 2)

Are any of these must haves?? Sorry + Thanks again!

You're getting a new 80GB

PS2 games are important only if you're a big PS2 fan and have tons of PS2 games.

Card reader is a nice option, but personally I don't use it a lot.

SACD is Super Audio CD - relatively rare format, so it's not really important.

You've got a wi-fi modem, so you don't need ethernet cable.

If you'll need more USBs - just get a USB hub, they are cheap.

all you need is the game.  if you don't play ps2 games, then you dont need backwards compatibility.  don't need the card reader... and if you do any usb card reader will do the trick.  you may need the cable if you want to go with a wired connection.  all you'll need is 2 usb ports unless you're playing rock band, and then you'll need a powered usb hub.   and i don't know wht sacd playback is, but i'm guessing you can live with out it.

The 80GB are backwards compatible. The PS3 comes ready for on-line play. I do recommend to buy the HDMI cable so you can watch it in FULL HD

You can buy a wireless headset so that you can talk to your friends online.

You can buy an Ethernet cable if you don't wanna hook it up wireless.

Well seens you have Wireless insternet you cna use that, you dont need the Ethernet cable. the PS2 compatibilty is onyl a biggy if you have PS2 games but msot liekly you also have a PS2 anyway.

SACD's are a bit pointless.

n you cna get a USB bub n stick 128 USB ports on if you feel liek it.

So all you need are some games :D

You will not need any of these if you have the wireless modem.

Under setting screen in home screen, access network setting. Select internet connection tab and select yes when system displays a new screen. Select easy on the new screen that pops up. Select wireless when it asks the type of internet connection you have. Select scan on the next screen. Select your home internet on the next screen. Save settings on the next screen. Check to make sure it works.
