Question:

Help with Parental Security on the internet?

Hello, I am in dire need of parental security for web browsing. My son has been using sites that I dont think he should be using (to say the least), and I was hoping to find a software program that will redirect the link to another site. This way, he wont automatically assume that the site has been blocked by me, and I don't have to go through yet another father / son talk with him.

For example, I wish to be able to make it when he tries to access google.com with his laptop via wireless, it takes him to yahoo.com instead.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. A good Internet Security Suite such as Kaspersky will have a "Parental Control" option. The suite will protect you from malicious sites and attacks as well as block inappropriate web sites (p**n). The parental Control function is protected by a password you set. It might be aggravating to have to "lay down the law" but ask yourself who is the parent?
