Help with Polk Db 651 speakers?

I just bought these speakers today and I do not know how to connect them to the old speakers. I have a 1998 Jetta and the old speakers had the clips that hooked onto the back of the speaker and the new ones dont have anything to basically use just little wires connected to a metal plate. What Can I DO??

Real easy...with the plug still connected to the factory speaker...cut the wires about an inch away from the plug.  That way you can easily re install them later on if you need to.  Now all you need to do is strip the bare wire and connect them to the new speakers with butt connectors or solder them.  If the are too short, splice in as much new speaker wire as you need.  Dont worry about the positive and negative.  Just make sure you do them all the same way.  If you have a brown and blue... make one of them the positive, doesnt matter which one....and then that one HAS to be the positive one on ALL the speakers.  If you made brown positive on one, then it needs to be positive on all.  If you do that, they will all be in phase.  Hope this helps.
