I have two sets of Red, White, and Yellow cables that hook up to my DVD player and my T.V. One has round connecters, and the other has 3 splits in the connecter part. Which one is better quality? Or does it matter? Help please......

  1. doesn't matter

  2. Check your manuals and see what they say. In general, with DVD players and higher end TVs, there are two ways to plug them in (Not counting HDMI cables and component cables.).

Either way, you connect two audio cables at each end, left & right, plus one video cable. Now, that video connection could be either an RCA cable (Just like the audio cables are), or it can be an SVHS cable, which is larger and has a round shaped internal fitting. Use either the RCA video connector, or the SVHS cable.

The SVHS cable tends to give a better video signal.
