Help with Rounding Decimals?

Question

Round the following to the hundreth place.

1. 102.305

2. 3.0973

3. 0.99703

4. 7.0342

5. 56.09978

6. 12.70376

6.  12.70

0.1 is tenths

0.12 is hundreths

0.123 is thousandths

If the number in the thousandths is greater than 5 then round up to the next hundreth.  Sometimes you have to start at the end of decimial and keep rounding.

so

102.305  = 102.31

3.0973 = 3.10

and so on
