Help with Santa fe rear parking sensor ?

I have an 04 Santa fe, the rear parking sensor gives a constant hum when in reverse gear. This doesnt change when any vehicle is getting closer when reversing. Basically its not working. Has anybody got any suggestions?

Rear parking sensors are not standard on the Santa Fe.  The unit is from an aftermarket company.  You will have to locate the component for the name of the manufacturer if you have technical repair questions.  If you don't use it, I would suggest removing it.

Yes, it sounds like a faulty sensor.

An expensive trip to Hyundai is the only way to rectify it too.

Unless they are non genuine revers sensors?.
