Help with Seasonal Bus ticket in Chennai City?

Hi folks,

I have recently shifted to chennai, and I wanna know how much does a bus pass cost? -a general bus pass unlimited to all routes and all buses. I will be very much obliged to you if can help me with any information about this stuff

Go to Broadway in Chennai or Any Bus Depot  in chennai.

You will get Monthly Concessional Pass. May be Rs.400/-

By this pass  you will get in any Bus ( both Fast/Slow or LSS) in Chennai ( please note that Chennai City Bus only) you can travel to Tambaram, Vandoor, upto chengalpattu, Truvalloor, Meemjur in North chennai.

the bus pass costs you around 600 bucks for all routes

go to any bus depot with a colour passport photo & Rs.600. They will issue a bus pass valid for 1 month from 16th of this month to 15th of the next month. Unlimited travel is allowed on this pass during this 1 month period. You have to sign the ID card before they laminate it. They will fix your photo on it, laminate & return it to you. These passes are issued between 5th & 15 of every month. Valid on all MTC buses except AC Buses. Hope this information is enough.

To the best of my knowledge there are no Bus pass for the whole city except monthly pass for the fixed routes, again it is only Up & down per day.

I would suggest you to go to the Bus office in Parrys/ Broadway and verify it.*

Pl.go to any metro bus depot with a PHOTO & Rs. 400to600, tell your requirement at bus -pass issue counter and it is in your hand in 10 minutes on the spot.

The cost is 600 per month. Its valid on all bussesand all routes, normal, Express and Deluxe, however is not valid on A/C buses. Its available in all bus depot, and you need to apply with 2 passport size photos.
