Help with Seussical parts?

Hey my school is doing seussical for the fall musical and i want to know what you think i would be good for. i am a very short blonde hair blue eyed girl and i have a good voice however there is an 11th grader who has had the girl lead the past two years and is an Amazing singer and a girl in my class who is also good better than me and i would like a good part i really love the part of gertrude and have learned all the songs ahah but im worried the two people i mentioned before will want that since i think its the female lead but one of them is really tall an the other one looks like shes 20 what should i try out for jojo??? gertrude???? please help thanks!!!

i saw on tv this girl was short so they broke her legs and the streached them apart and they healed longer so she got taller

you can do that if you want to get taller

and you can keep practicing them and when there out of school youll be better and there will be less competion or try now

Practice as much as you can!  That's the most important part.

Also, remember that when you are in front of the 'judges' you have to give everything, because it's your only chance.

I think you should try for the part.  The way you look, shouldn't hold you back.  I mean look at Kristin Chenoweth.  Tiny girl with the biggest voice ever.

I hope you do awesome at the auditions.  (Seussical is a good musical, I saw it at a neighboring school a couple years ago)
