Help with Sony HDR-SR10?

I have a sony HDR-SR10 and recorded a conference in full HD and today connected it to my Panasonic LZD80 full HD tv but the picture quality is rubbish. I am using a top of the range hdmi cable to connect them directly but still the image is pants!

  1. do not play with sony hdr-sr10 with power supply conected(cable with power). play with camera accumulator (LI-ION)
