I can't do anything on it, whats the Video FX and transitions for?

How do I make the writing glow and show only a sentence in a diff colour then other and stuff like that..

Please help , Thanks

  1. There are a lot of tutorials on youtube, they helped me a lot.. it saves time instead of trying to solve things on your own.
