Help with Thompson mini walking foot... this machine was bought last year before we moved and I

this machine was bought last year before we moved and I misplaced the machine manuals before I ever got a chance to sew anything. My problem is I don't know too much about this machine. I went from a White home machine to this mini walking foot - they're quite a bit different. I'm a guitar amp tech/builder and when I sell one of my amps I like to make a custom cover for it to protect it from bumps, scrapes, and dust. Could anyone help me with some basic pointers; like how to thread the needle, set the tension, how to adjust the tread-per-inch, etc?? I bought the machine from the East Coast and live 100 miles east of San Francisco, so I'm not near any sewing center that would carry another manual, or pictorials. Thanks for the time, RonI need a manual, or at least the threading instructions for my Thompson pw-201, mini walkingfoot machine. I have moved three times in the past 20 years (wow! it' been that long) & no longer have my manual. My machine has the upper tension disc/check spring on the front face of the machine, not on the side like most domestic & industrial machines. Thanks in advance.
