Help with Travel Choices!!??!!??!!?

Question

My Grandparents said that since I graduate high school this year, they would pay for me to travel to Europe for the year after graduation. Since I'll have to start planning now, I need to choose at least the top five cities that I want to visit, but I'm having trouble since I know very little about Europe, lol. So I was hoping that the wonderful people on Y!A could help me by giving me their opinions on what my top 5 choices should be.. So Help.. please, lol.

I would suggest that you look into a contiki tour - its a great help for your first time in Europe.

To suggest a few places: London, Belgium, Switzerland, France and Amsterdam

1.Dublin Ireland- It is BEAUTIFUL, With beaches, seas, And green land. It really is beautiful.And you can travel to different places in ireland to, such as Donegal.If you do go to Ireland you must come to Donegal.You will NOT regret it.Great shopping,very cheap and at the very top of ireland so your looking out at the atlantic ocean all the time. Dublin is more a city figure,There are great shops and city tours and lots of history.The currency in ireland is Euro

So Donegal and Dublin are a MUST! You can get a bus easily from Dublin to Donegal. But i must warn you,It does take 5 hours. Your best bet would be to fly from dublin to donegal which takes less than 30 min. try this link http://www.aerarann.com

London England-Is another must, Its a little bit dearer than Ireland and you also need to change your currancy to Pounds.

Berlin Germany-This city is just beautiful.If you dont go to see Berlin then you have missed out on one big part of your life.I am not to sure about the currency but i'm pretty sure it is euro. well, wanna go to europe, and if i go i'l go to london, paris, and probably dublin. no others are too appealing.

Italy is amazing... I would hit up Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan.  Germany is also fun and they speak more English.  Berlin is a must in Germany, and Heidelburg, the altstadt (old city) is BEAUTIFUL!!  Scotland is cool, both Glasgow and Edinburgh... Edinburgh on April 30 has a Beltane Fire Festival that was amazing... I would recommend that then.  London, Liverpool, York, England are amazing!  Paris is too cool!  Amsterdam (even not considering the pot part, which i did once there) was beautiful with canals and lots of museums.  Dublin is really cool as well.  Seriously, just go everywhere!  You won't be disappointed!
