Help with Visualboy Advance emulator please?

Question

I downloaded a Visual boy Advance emulator to play Pokemon Fire Red version but ever since I moved the whole thing to my new computer, it's been playing at near 300%! I can't get it to slow down! It used to play at 100%, at normal speed, but now all my pokemon are vibrating, my battles are over in 10 seconds and I flee from wild pokemon in a flash! Can someone please tell me how to slow it down?

I had that problem to, try turnning sound off

dunno why but that helped me

Sorry, as a rule I don't help people do activities that are illegal.  That downloaded Pokemon ROM is an example of copyright infringement.
