Help with Windows Moviemaker?

Question

Importing pictures works everytime I try to put them in videos...but anytime I try to add music...I click on the file it's in & then it's blank..like nothing to upload! Same goes for trying to add videos!

Yes because its a differnt format. Its very difficult to find the right format since it has to be a .AVI file. You could get a converter but that takes forever and might cost money. All I know is what worked for me is I got my music from limewire. The I opened up the file and moved the song into my documents. But it Limewire is the only one that worked for me, Itunes deffinetly dosent work. For the video I use to make anime music videos and I get the them from animemusicvideos.org then just imported them. If you could find the video from limewire that'd work 2.

try dragging it in instead.

sometimes that happens to me.

also sometimes certain types of files dont show.

like if u have mp3 and wma, you might only see the wma.

under the drop down box that shows the name of the file you selected, theres another  box make sure it says show all file types

I had a similar problem hope this will help: You need to have your music in mp3 format and videos in avi I think! If you're using itunes go on: edit/preferences/advanced/importing then on the import using put mp3 encoder! Then when you import a song it'll become that and you can right click on the song you want and make it an mp3 file! (sometimes it'll say that it is a protected file so you have to import the cd and if it's on the above settings it'll load as an mp3 file)

browse through the folders until you find music and videos...

eg u might hav it set so that the default window to browse is say the picture folder...so when u want to import music/videos then the picture folder will open and since there is noo videos or music in that folder it will go blank....so browse about the folders....good luck
