I got this dodge dakota in my back yard. It's my dad's and if l can fix it i can have it. Thing is..i don't really know much about trucks. He's saying that something is missing..the computer? not sure if there's another name. So if you can tell me please do. How much do they go for? If you guys have any good sites for this truck and for parts please let me know.

  1. he will have to be more specific about the problem, otherwise you will have to tow it to a shop to get it checked out pay the bill yourself then he will know you are serious

  2. first you need to find out for sure what it missing from it,if its the computer those could cost around 100-300 bucks depending on which one it needs, you need an old one to go by on those, without, you have to buy one and have it programmed for the truck, you really need to know for sure what it needs we have no way of seeing to help you on this one,if you find out for sure come back and let us know then we can help, good luck

  3. If you need a computer for that dakota then find one at a junk yard that is the same year, model, engine size, transmission ...everything and put that computer in it. You can get one from a dealership as well but its going to be very expensive.
