I have written a book. Its a fiction / fantasy for young adults. It is set in 1666, beginning with the Great Fire of London. A brother and sister who have a father who is an outlaw pirate on the run, and using a false name, and a mother who was trialed by water as a witch and survived.

They are separated from their parents. They go to a town where their father always said meet in case of the law, and separated. They are united with dads old crew. There is a curse on the ship, and the sister from the two can break it...revealed why she can at the end of the book. Lots of supernatural things occur in their sea voyage concerning the curse. Any ideas for the book title. because I have spent a year on this book, its completed and a name for the book is the only thing stumping me. The ship is called the Red Eye. The Pirates captain is Billy Black bone. They also have a map of an undiscovered land in the south pacific...

PS: Anyone steals my idea, I have all this copyrighted. So dont. Thanks!

  1. With all the water imagery in the story, maybe you could think about a title which has water in it ~ Water Blessing; Ocean's Child; something along those lines?

    Cheers :-)

  2. I like the idea of "Curse of the Red Eye" myself. One question though, I am a writer and i'm writing my first novel, how do you get copyright? Is it free? Do I get copyright the second I create a "work of art" like a book, music sheet, or artwork??? plz answer this if you can at Writingexchange@yahoo.com

  3. Curse of the Lame Book Premise

  4. the mystery of the red eye

  5. Red Eye is a great name for the book.

    Voyage/r sounds okay

The Curse makes it sound mysterious

Outlaw sounds cool too, since all the pirates are outlaws

  6. You have allot of different choices to name it. Since its a curse of a ship I suggest, The Curse of The Red Eye, course on the cover of the book you would need a picture of a Pirate ship with some of the detail of the book to interest the buyer on the back.

The book cover and Intoduction to the story would let the buyer know its a scene on the seas.
