I want to get a saturday job and need a cv to hand around.

However i have no idea what to put on one.

The adult example i have doesnt really relate to me because i dont have a job or university qualifications etc..

Can anyone give me some tips to write a cv suitable for a 16 year old girl who has just finished her GCSE's and is going into sixthform (year12) to do As and Alevels.

Thankyou:)

  1. ok well add things firstly

    * name

    * contact details

    * and personal details such as date of birth etc.

    Then but your hobbies such a sports or you like meeting new people.

    Then your skills like you know how to use a computer and you have a good telephone maner ect.

    you could also put what you are predicted in your gcse

    and you will need a refrence you could use a teacher for that

    good luck with finding a job hoped that helped.  :)

  2. Because you're so young and you obviously haven't worked before, you shouldn't worry about a CV/resume.  Most employers won't expect to have one anyway.  If it'll make you feel better, you should put volunteer work or extra curricular activities you've done while attending school.  It would also help to get a few references from your teachers.

  3. roo is right but you could also put on any experience you have had - maybe babysitting even if it is for family, working for neighbours, anything you have done at school with responsibility - plays, choir, afterschool clubs etc.  Tesco and Sainsbury are favourites for employing Saturday and holiday workers
