Help with a Halloween costume!!! Please!!?

Question

For halloween I am being a go go girl. I already have the boots so i just need the dress, but the problem is that a lot of costume stores sell it with the boots or are to short and tight and a lot are way to overpriced. I need a go go girl dress that is $25 the most and is not too inapropriate. I am only 11, but dont find a childrens costume. I no this a lot to ask for, but remember if you win you get ten points!!! Totally honest, go to Forever 21 and try on some dresses. Seriously, they have some dresses in there that might possibly pass for go go [:

If not, go to Macy's and buy a Babydoll dress. that's what you really want since they are almost a solid down dress.

OK so you got your boots. Now try looking in Walmart for the hat.. they are the ones that are pooofffy on top with a brim (they should have them). You probably will find a thick or a linked belt there also, unless you already own one.

If there are any thrift stores or salvation armies available in your area, check there, because they carry all kinds of neat clothing and alot that fits that time period. If you find a dress, don't worry if its to big, it can be cut off and hemmed. You might check garage sales on the week ends too, some people have them clear up to the fall.

One more thing is that in the '60s ...go go girls wore skirts with turtle necks or halter tops or a cute sweater. Basicly anything went, as long as they had their boots, hat, (belt optional) and 3" above the knee. After a period of time it went to "Micro Mini" and tights or fishnet stockings.

Try like American apparel, for a sheath dress or maybe ebay for a sheath dress. (Why are you 11 and being a "go go" girl anyway? don't you know how kind of, risque (is that the right word?) they were? why not just be a vampire or a ballerina? like most 11 year olds?)
