  1. The hatchlings should basically be cared for the same as the adults.  It's not really true that the babies are more carnivorous than the adults.  They need the same diet - including some fruits and veggies with protein.  As for insects, you can feed them small meal worms, super worms, and night crawlers.  You can keep him in the same tank, but I like to keep the hatchling enclosure a little moister with moss for them to hide in.  You should also provide some natural sunlight everyday.  The best site to answer your questions is www.boxturtlesite.info.  Good luck to you and your little one!  :)

  2. it needs uvb light, especially when its little.

10 gallon tank is fine for a bit, you can always invest in a rubbermaid container, they are big and cheap.

i wouldnt put them together, turtles really dont need companion ship, have you ever seen a pack of turtles?

he should be getting more meat now then later on in life, he needs protein

you should go and do a search on juvenile or baby box turtle care. a good site is austinsturtlepage.com or a message board called turtletimes
