Help with a bedroom??!?

Question

ok, so i want polka dots on the ceiling of my room.

but i want them REALLY good circles.

so, how can i make shure they are really good?

do i buy a stencil or something?

1] first measure the ceiling, to see how large an area you have

2] then trace something in your home - plastic lid to coffeee can, paper plate, etc, and tack to ceiling to see if it is a good size

3] decide on the pattern and number of dots needed, so you can space them evenly [ or do random sizes/pattern ]

4] trace

5] paint!

Large stamps or stencils would probably be your best bet to getting perfect circles. By using a stencil, you eliminate the possibility of painting outside of the lines if you trace them. Stamps are also great because you just roll the paint on them and press. A few years ago, I used star stamps to put pink stars on the walls of my yellow room. It turned out very clean and looked great!
