Help with a blackjack II with water damage

So my phone got wet today and i immediately removed the battery to let it dry out. The battery now has little purple x's on a small white strip, and when the phone is plugged in to charge it will not turn on. instead the welcome screen will flash and go to black. Is my phone gone for good or is there still hope?

you probably wont be able to use it again. in rare cases they can dry out enough to function again, but in your case i think its done. since its water damage you wont be able to do a warranty exchange on it. so your best bet would be to do insurance claim. good luck!
