Question:

Help with a found cat

I found this cat in front of my house and I don't know what to do with it. I've never had a cat before and I don't know what to feed it, where to take it, or where to keep it in my house until I give it back to who ever. I don't want to just leave it outside at 3AM while it's raining. Any advice?

  1. First the cat may be freaked out so you should get an old pillow/blanket/old top any thing and if you have nothing to feed it u could get some chicken/fish/cheese and some water or milk mixed with water u get a ce cream lid put it on the ground put some milk in then add a little bit of water and mix

after you have feed it gave it some water it may need to go toliet u could leave it outside for 5 min and in the morn go around asking the nabors

    GOOD LUCK

  2. Yup, animal shelter.

  3. Give her water and any meat you have, like chicken, beef, turkey, whatever. make sure it is boneless. Also, put some sand or soil in a shoe box or sth., so that she can use this as a toilet. Finally, please don't take her to a shelter where they would kill her. Either take her to a no-kill shelter, or keep her, or leave her where you found her, she probably has means to survive, she must have people who feed her or an owner. She's better off a stray than on death row. If you interfere, make sure it is for the best and not for taking her to her death! Otherwise leave her alone.

  4. Take her to a shelter or vet in the morning.  They should be able to scan her to see if her owner put a microchip in her.  If she doesn't then you'll have to decide if you want to bring her home and put up signs in case she does have an owner or leave her.   She may not have an owner.

As far as food goes - if you have any plain meat then a little of that should be fine.  Absolutely nothing with onion or garlic, ideally no spices at all, although a little salt won't hurt.  Tuna is fine too.  It doesn't work well as an every day food but for a night it'll be fine.

Anything you can turn into a litter box would be good.  Sand, dirt.. will work fine as litter.  If you put the kitty in it once it should remember where the box is.

    good luck!

  5. take it to the animal shelter

  6. put a found cat poster and copy millions and stick them on stuff like trees and walls etc and then you might find the owner

good luck with finding the cat owner

  7. Usually cats know their own territory and home very well. If you don't know what to feed it etc, then the best thing to do is wait until it stops raining (or if it hasn't stopped after an hour or so) just let it back out. It will know where to go.

If it looks like a stray however, or if it just sits and stares back in at you instead of going, perhaps the best place is a shelter.

  8. i guess put up signs of a lost cat

if no one wants it keep it

or if you have the right to remain the silence in your life

animal shelter is the ideal place

  9. Tomorrow, take it to the animal shelter. Maybe give it some meat you have or some milk.
