Question:

Help with a name for a grandfather character in book, much like Gandalf and Dumbledor?

Ok my character is very much like Gandalf and Dumbledor. His grandchildren absolutely love him because of his childlike nature even though he is very old and wise. He will have a grey beard but very dirty and will be friends with a couple animals, including a small lazy chipmunk that sleeps in his large brown coat pocket. This guy used to be part of an ancient order of protectors that helped keep the world running, but ever since the people turned on them they went into hiding.

I need a good likable name for the guy, I'm wracking my brain over it and can't come up with something. I always liked Albus Dumbledoor, Radagast, Gandalf, Tom Bombadil, those were great names. Anyone have any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
