  1. You already have some great suggestions.  All I could add would be to suggest you first think about how you personally feel about a certain color.  For example, to me sky blue is usually considered a soothing color, whereas bright yellow is a sunny, happy color and red is an "in your face" color.  A friend who worked in a bank and often had to give customers bad news said she always wore a power color like red or black when she had to give them bad news.  That way the tone was set as soon as she walked into the room.  If the news was good, she would wear pastels.

  2. Write about feelings/emotions/thoughts associated with the colour, and then what feelings/emotions/thoughts they would evoke in you.

  3. dont write it.  tell your teacher that a blind person can not read.

  4. well, if you picked the color red.... then you could write about LOVE, heat evoked by HOT FLAMES, BLOOD, sweet smelling as a red rose.... red representing the emotion of anger or rage...... Half a page is not really that long.... =]  Once you start writing, you'll wish that your teacher allowed you to write two pages on the color red! =)

  5. Describe color as the 'topping' to something....use emotions and tastes. IE....describe green as... when lying in 'green grass' the warmth of the sun, the softness of the breeze, the security of knowing all is right in the world.

Colors are adjuncts to other things. There is icecream, and then there is icecream with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry.

    Good luck....what an interesting assignment!

  6. I'd go with the second answer.  Maybe go with red, it's easy to describe red as anger/rage.

  7. If I were you I would be using emotions to describe my desired colour. For instance if you were to describe red you would use emotions like anger, madness, tempers etc to describe red. Red is a very intensive colour - I would use this or Blue wich is pretty much an opposite when it comes to emotions. Hope this all makes sense.
