Question:

Help with a peeling sunburn?

I got a sunburn on my back and chest last friday. it doesn't hurt anymore but it is a little itchy and is peeling. I am supposed to go to a club tomorrow night and all my "club shirts" show my back witch is gross and peeling. Is there anything I can do to make it look...less gross. I know I can't really stop the peeling since it needs to shed that skin to heal but i just want it to look a little better for a few hours.I heard burts bees makes something I could use. Any suggestions would be great!

  1. hi lime gree!

here's a tip for next time u get burnt. don't shower when u come home just give yourself a sponge bath that night, try to sleep with nothing on and just a sheet over u and try not to sweat.

next morning have a shower and lay back out in the sun for about 15 Min's each side, and u should not burn and peel after that. i know it sounds crazy but it does work. and also try not to stay out so long yr first day in the sun after u haven't been out in for awhile.

but to help with yr problem at hand now, go and get a bottle of olive oil and put about a cup in bath and soak yourself in it. it should help with the peeling process and it will work wonders for your skin and try and stay in the bath for as long as u can even adding more hot water not too hot ok and it should stop the itching too.

hope u have good night out

  2. Put aloe gel on it. You can get it at Wal-Mart. Its blue.

  3. lotion daily

and aloe gel works good comes in blue wal-mart or ride aid

  4. rub in aftersun or moisturiser on ur back, have a bath and scrub it gently with a brush

    hope this helps!
