Help with a rice recipe???????????/?

alrite. i have a fried rice recipe, and it says i need these ingrediants and cooked rice. i have an electric wok, but ive never used it before and i dont know how to cook rice in it. kan someone tell me a site or jus tell me how much rice and how much water i need. pleasseee id apreciate it alot.

i just need to know how to cook rice in an electric wok...

1 cup rice and 2 cups water. The End. Bring to boil - cover, reduce heat. Let simmer 20 minutes with NO PEEKING!

Remember, always 2-1....2 cups water 1 cup rice! :)

1) You can't cook rice in an electric wok.

2) To make Fried Rice, the rice must be cooked and then chilled. Using hot rice will result in a gooey gloppy mess.

Get out a small saucepan with a lid and let's cook some rice first. Once the rice is done, put it in the refrigerator to cool down.

Combine one cup rice and two cups of water in a saucepot and bring to a boil. Clap a lid on it and turn the heat down to Low. If you’re using a gas stove, that’s a little wispy flame. If you’re using an electric stove, that’s like 2 clicks from Off. Here’s the hardest part: resist the urge to lift the lid for 15 minutes. Taste a forkful; it should be tender and there should be a wee bit of water remaining in the bottom of the pot. Replace the lid and continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow the rice to sit on the burner until ready to serve.
