  1. Good question, I suspect the answer is A, takes out all the big stuff and opens the light to the ground so weeds and grasses will grow.

As a farmer I would also vote for C, we grow lots of grass and weeds where we are trying to grow crops.

  2. Forest Fire

  3. its a] forest fires...

fires help replenish the nutrients in the soil, which helps promote plant growth

  4. A) A forest fire. Often, to this day land is selectively burned to add nutrients back to the soil.

    Why Farmers Burn Their Fields

The burning of grass fields is an agricultural practice that has long been used by farmers for a variety of agronomic reasons. Essentially, the burning process stimulates the plant to produce abundant seed yields in the following year. Burning also helps to control, dust and it reduces erosion by eliminating ground disturbance caused by mechanical treatments. Furthermore, burning kills diseases and pests in the plants and reduces excess vegetative residue from the fields

  5. I would say A]Forest Fire.

It is known that after a fire, grasses and small plants come back very rapidly and make for great grazing for wildlife.  Sometimes the Forest Service performs a 'controlled burn' just to keep the dead and down trees from accumulating too much and open areas for the grasses.

  6. I would say C] Clearing land for farming and A] Forest Fire. Not only because it sounds more logical, but the way the farmer plows the dirt and soil can bring up some of the nutrients needed for growing grass and weeds. Plus, my dad cuts his grass to soil and dirt level (during the winter) and puts seed on it and the grass and weeds grow, he is an aspiring farmer... And A] Forest Fire, that destroys grass and weeds (but also brings out the nutrients of the soil to make the grass grow)... Hope I helped!!! :)
