i have a sleep number bed and i know this is going to sound strange but i keep it totally deflated....any number causes me to sleep uncomfortably.....with no air in the mattress it still sleeps better than a regular mattress to me....when i sleep on it though it "walks" off the boxspring part....if i get up in the middle of the night to go get something to drink or use the bathroom when i come back to get in the bed i have to push it back over to the wall with my knees.....there have been plenty of times that i have almost fallen out of bed in the morning because the top mattress has "walked" off that bottom mattress...any ideas on how to keep this from happening?....i thought there were straps to hold it to its frame but i dont see any.....help!

  1. no but this is a good ? i should be giving you 10 points for asking this one

  2. I had the same problem. Go to Lowes/Home Depot and get a roll of that stuff that keeps things from sliding. Sorry, I can't think of the name of it. It's like the stuff you put under carpet to keep it from sliding on a hardwood floor. Just ask them in the floor/carpet department. They'll know what you mean.

Cut it and put it between the bottom and top part.

You can also use the stuff that you line drawers with. Some people put it on shelves in campers to keep stuff from sliding off. That may be less expensive. It also comes in a roll. You can find it at WalMart.

  3. Mine does it too, and it's not from keeping it deflated!  We tried the shelf liner/rug gripper stuff.  In the end we took the "box spring" cover off, exposing the plastic and then put the rug gripper on and then the mattress.  Doesn't look pretty but now we only have to readjust the mattress once a week or so....
