  1. Does your school have a speech teacher? If not, maybe your parents can find a speech therapist to help you.

  2. its really hard to explain, i'm a ninth grader to and in like 4th grade i always said wore instead of roar i could never get that sound right, so i just kept on saying and saying it and tried making different R sounds.. this  really isnt professional but it worked for me

  3. If your embarrassed to go to speech, I understand that but  it might be less embarrassing to speak better in the long run. Other wise I am sure there are things on the web, or educational cd's. Getting to this point is when you might find the answer.

  4. I know that my son went to speech therapy when he was small and no one knew that he was other than the teacher that he had at the time. It's okay to go to your parents and say, hey, I am really bothered by this and can you help me or if that is not possible, maybne you can speak to someone at your school that you trust. Teachers have some degree of confidentiality that they have to follow.  Don't be embarresd of your problem as a lot of people have speech problems. I would just practice rolling your "r"s when you are alone and seek someone that can give you some guidance that is by you. (Speech therapy is free through your school also most times)  :  ) Good luck to you!
