  1. i know you need to wrap it and ice it after every game that happened to me!!

and also use ibuprofen(before and after take like 3) if you can i will help a lot!

    add me to 360!!!

  2. Im A Setter to ... But You Should Really Get it Checked out !! Because if You dont get it checked out now ... and you go on with out it getting checked then its goin to come to your senior year and your not going to be able to play because of somthing you did two three years ago !!!

But If Your Really Tenasious ... like me Wrap Get your coach to wrap your wrist && Before and right after the game Make sure you ice it !! and rest it up !!

  3. You definently want a docter, a trainer, or someone like that to check it out. If it is serious you don't want to make it so you can't volleyball ever again. You probably just need to get it wrapped. =) hope everything works out

  4. go to a trainer or a doctor. you should definetly get it checked out. If you dont and its something serious, you can injure your wrist permanetly and maybe never be able to set again. go to your school trainer, take the steps to get it better and maybe even sit out a while just to make sure its fine. good luck!!

  5. Dont Be a idiot, See a doctor and you could be back playing in weeks. Dont see a doctor and  it could be damaged for life. If i where you id see a doctor strait away and get it to heal up before its 2 late.

  6. If volleyball is your life and setter is your career, take care of your wrist NOW.

I have been in the same situation before and I can understand how you feel, but… even if the cost could be a season, you do not want to delay the therapy and cost your life. Advil is for temporary relief, if that doesn't help, you need a doctor.

You need to talk to a doctor, a chiropractor, or an acupuncturist (Acupuncturist would be preferred but you may not be so lucky to find one, if you live in LA area I might be able to help you). Some chiropractors only want to get you back so that they can make more money so ask around before you go.

  7. You need to see a doctor to diagnose the problem. You don't want to ruin all of the rest of your years without being able to play sports do you? (especially v-ball) I was one of the best setters in volleyball but always wore a wrist band to help avoid all the bad bruises and further injuries. I played for about 35 years and now because of two knee surgeries......I can't play any longer. It is so sad for me and even if you must set out of the game for awhile....better to see the doc than to maybe not ever play again and damage it worse. Good luck and go get 'em!  Side out!
