Help with address proof!!!?

Question

Incase of application for a driving license or for a passport etc. ........what address proof is applicable in - case of an out-station person not holding either permanent residency of the place or any other id prooving his / her residency of that place.

If you are not belonging to a location, why you want the Government documents in that place?

If you are employed with a company in one particular place, which is outside your hometown, provide your bank pass book as a address proof.

If not employed, why r u staying there. Go to your home town.

All you want is Government documents for your temporary address.

You can get a Government document for your present address (address for communication) with your  current address (permanent address). There is always a option for it with our Indian system.

So...you are asking how a person with no proof of address can prove thier address?  You are out of state, but you want to prove that you live in the state, even though you don't have proof?  Am I to understand that you DON'T live in this state?  And, next time you post, can you make it even more confusing (NOT!)?

It's fraudulent, but I suppose you could ask a friend to put a power bill in your name.  This would establish your residence.

It depends whether u are in a metro or any small town of the country. If u are in small town, then the town will be under any district. Every distric has a block office. From that block office a certificate known as " AAwasiye Pramanpatra" can be obtained as a temporary resident for 6 months or permanent resident. If permanent resident proof is needed, then go to an advocate. Ask him to prepare a Affadavit stating that you are a resident of the said address, and till now you do not have any residence proof because you were out of the place for studies, job , business or has come to the said address after marraige. The next statement in affadavit will say that your very close relative or parents are frpm the said address and get signed by few neighbours as witness. Then move to Block office and apply for Proof. The same eqivalent office in metros will do the same. Hope it will show you a little idea?

A current phone bill, current electric bill, current cable bill, current water bill, current bank statement, are all good for proof of residency.

YOU CAN PRODUCE THE PROOF LIKE BANK PASS BOOK, DRIVING LICENCE, RATION CARD,  VOTER CARD OR YOUR OFFICE IDENTITY CARDS.
