Help with adelphia DVR remote.?

Question

Ok so i got a dvr cable box and remote when it was still adelphia and not comcast. I have programmed my tv, dvd player, and surround sound to the old adelphia remote but i don't know how to work certain functions....

when i have the dvd player programmed i can turn it on, but is there a way that i can open and close the cd holder, or do i have to use my regular dvd remote to do that??

also with my surround sound i can control the volume, but is there a way i can change the input so that it works with video games, but also with the dvd player.

Hi Hannah,

I don't have the exact same remote but on my programmed remote if I turn on the DVD player and hit the play button with the tray empty the drawer opens.

When I am done watching I hit the stop button twice and the DVD stops and the drawer opens.

Yours may not be the same but it is worth a try.
