I left my book at school, and my friend typed up the problems and sent them to me on Facebook. But since I don't have my book for examples, I'm not sure how to do them! So I'm going to post a few, and if someone could please help me, I'd really appreciate it! (:

Solve each formula for the indicated variable.

20. s=1/2gt^2. Solve for g.

21. i=prt. Solve for r.

Solve each equation for x. Find any restrictions.

24. bx-cx= -c

26. x/a-5=b

Write an equation to solve each problem.

30. Two planes left an airport at noon. On flew east at a certain speed and the other flew west at twice the speed. The planes were 2700 miles apart in three hours. How fast was each plane flying?

31. One side of a triangle is 1 inch longer than the shortest side and is 1 inch shorter than the longest side. The perimeter is 17 inches. Find the dimensions of the triangle.

34. The sides of a triangl are in the ratio 3:4:5. What is the length of each sde if the perimeter of the triangle is 30 cm?

Solve each equation.

36. 0.2(x+3)-4(2x-3) = 3.4

38. 3(m-2)-5=8-2(m-4)

41. x/2 + x/5 + x/3 = 31
