Help with an InFocus Screenplay 4805 projector......?

I'm trying to find a replacement lamp for my projector... I found some but they want $300+ for it. Just wondering if there's a place I can get one cheaper than that.

Even though you have asked for a better price for a replacement projection bulb, were you aware of the proper shut down procedure in order to obtain the 3,000 hours of bulb life.  It goes as follows:

1)  Turn off the projector using the remote control;

2)  Leave the main fan on for at least 20 minutes; then

3)  Turn off the whole projector using the power switch on the side of the projector itself.

You could find a service that reconditions your old bulb. There are companys which just replace the bulb, not the WHOLE assemble and they are usually 50% cheaper.

That's about the BEST Price you are going to find....

The ones to steer clear of are the  Half-Price websites...you buy one and during the warranty they Pro-rate the usage.

You pay them some and get a new lamp, and pay them some and get a new lamp, and pay them some and get a new lamp and pay them some and get a new lamp and pay.....

You could save more by buying the original lamp....
