Help with an actors CV writing????

i am writing my actors CV and i have finished writing up my credits, skills and interests. i was wondering if i should write about a paragraph about myself ? do you think that is a good idea/bad idea???? please help i need another actors advice. i would just write something about what work i have done, why i would be good for the agency etc. please gice advice on what to write in it or if its a bad idea?? thanks xx

  1. you have to lie and exagerate a while lot if your to get roles acting, everyone does it, honestly.

  3. again, i add to the NO LIES advice.

    you just just have stats, credits, skills, and training.  no personal interests and definitely not a paragraph about yourself.  if you want to share your work history and why you'd be good for the agent you put that in a cover letter which will accompany your headshot/resume in your mailing.  but this DOES NOT belong on your resume.

  4. DON'T LIE, DON'T LIE, DON'T LIE, DON'T LIE! People tell you to do it but DON'T! They'll find out one way or another, and its a bad first step into the industry, this should help:

    and i wouldn't write about yourself- just fill out the resume.

  5. Yeah definately don't lie.

             Write experience you have, classes you've taken, and special skills like sports, gymnastics skills, accents, weird flexibility, etc.
