Help with an essay? (Ice Skaters preferably)?

Question

Ok, I have an essay due Wednesday for my English Composition class, where I talk about winter in Central New York....I'm "for" it (even though I hate winters here).....Part of my essay is about why Ice Skating is better here than anywhere else.

Another question......do you prefer to skate in a rink, or outside on a lake.

Well I've never skated in NY, so I dunno. But I wouldn't ever skate on a lake. That's a good way to ruin your blades.

when im feeling like practicing hard ill go to a rink

if im feel like getting away from everything ill go to a lake

not sure bout why its betta th evry wer elese but, i deff prefer to skate in a rink, don't hafta worry bout it melting and falling in, its not as puddly and wet.

never skated in NY only at Rockefeller. :)

i prefer a rink for practice, but a lake for recreation or when i just feel like cruising along the ice just skating. no jumps  or whatever

I like skating on a rink most of the time only because there are no lakes around me. NYC i s a great place to skate probally mostly in upper New York because of the weather. I think alot of peole who like to skate go to NYC. I like going there. Plus they have the famous rink in the city where the big christmas tree is.

Iv never skated in NY but I could imagine skating there would be great!

On a lake might be nice but for figure skating, its probably not the best place because the ice is too rough, so I would prefer a rink to train in because the ice is smooth (zambonied).
