  1. Well, why do you want to work there?  There has to be a reason you applied for the job.  As far as why you are leaving the job you are currently at.....I would tell the interviewer that it isn't challenging enough, or you are looking for a career change.  I agree, you shouldn't tell them you hate your boss.

When I interview people for the kind of work we do, I look for sincerity and honesty.  I don't like when people tell me what they think I want to hear.  I usually end up passing by those and moving on to someone who is going to be "real" in their career desires and what they want in a job or company.

Good luck and remember to be professional not only in dress, but in attitude also.

  2. Just be honest.  it will be ok.  really it will, you have to be truthful, because if you lie and get the job, it wont feel good because you based it on a lie

  3. when they ask you that why did you leave your last job, they expect the worst yet most common reply from you and that is - my employer was terrible. Never ever speak anything negative about your past company and best reply for the question that why did you leave your last job is - I'm looking for a bigger challenge and to grow my career and I couldn't job hunt part time while working. It didn't seem ethical to use my former employer's time. Or may be you can say - There isn't room for growth with my current employer and I'm ready to move on to a new challenge. or may be - I am interested in a job with more responsibility, and I am very ready for a new challenge.

  4. Why do you want to work here?

I find that not only do my personal values meet with your vision statement in that _______(add in there vision statement) but i also find that the nature of the job match with the skills that I already posses. Such as______(add in some of your skills or just B.S it but to make it look better look at the job responsibilities in the job add and use those as the skills you do have)

*vision statements are usually found on the websites of the company

Why did you leave your last job?

Although I appreciated that great opportunities my last employer gave me I found that the job was not a challenges that will help me grow in my professional field.

  5. What I do:

Why you want to work there--- research the company before you go and take their values and mission and tweek it into your own. You need to sound like one of them.

For leaving the last job: If it's a different field than your going into, say you wanted to make a career change to get into this field because it's where your heart is (even if not). IF within the same field, I'd say that I wanted to grow in the field. More importantly, always speak positively about your last job, it says a lot about you.

    good luck :)

  6. never tell the person you hate your boss, lol

    no way!

why do you want to work here?  Well, i'm looking longevity, a place I grow in and excel in my career.  I feel this is the place that I do that with. I saw your website and it sounds great, fast paced and i know i would do well here, i'd be a great asset to your team

WHy did you leave your last job?  I wanted to search for more, have more options in where I'm going with my life, my career.I didn't want to leave my last job, I just felt like I was at a dead end and wanted to be able to search for something a bit more challenging.
