Help with any vacation ideas

I live in texas and i have $2000 saved for a vacation with my wife. we want to go out of state or maybe even over seas. probably a cruise. give me a idea of where to go. can be cold or hot. just need some ideas.

It's going to be difficult to try and get a variety for the amount you have saved,.. I too agree with the cruise suggestions bc it's an all inclusive vacation. What you should consider (( from experience ))) is a carribean cruise once hurricane passes and one that leaves form PR bc the destinations are really much better ports of call and the clientel is more sophisticated as opposed to the Carnival cruises leaving from MIA of Hou,... You would get four star environment on the PR departures cruises

GO ON A CRUISE !!!! omg you wont regrette it .. unless you go on a crapppy one .

Do the cruise.  You only have to unpack once and never have to guess where to eat. I think Carnival ( not my favorite) operates out of texas and / or New Orleans. Other wise leave from Miami.

Catch one of the specials and pay way under $2000, but extras will use up the difference.

Egypt is good. Sharm El Shiekh is alot cleaner, you can fly over to Cairo or Luxor from Sharm El Shiekh with takes an hour to see pyramids. Lots of water slides, pools, bars in pool etc.
