Help with audition song??

Question

I'm like a mediocre singer, but I really want to do well in an audition i have coming up soon.

I know a couple really well:

On my own - Les Mis

Journey to the past - Anastasia

Somewhere - West Side Story

Heaven help my heart - Chess

My Romance

any suggestions? which one would be best?

oh! and to add to it i have a stuffy nose.

I really like somewhere, it is a beautiful song. Nice and slow moving, it really is great.

I would go with the anastasia song. During the verses make sure the notes are stacatto and the very last note is a short fermata. Make sure the chours flows together. Hit all of te notes, but make it your own. Hold out the very last note, in the song it's 16 beats.

Stay away from On My Own - it's a very overdone song.  Depending on what you're auditioning for, I'd go with either Somewhere or Heaven Help My Heart - pick the one that's closest in style to whatever you're auditioning for - or if it's a general audition, whichever you can sing best!

On My Own because, the girl who plays Eponine somewhat sounds like she has a stuffy nose, and it is an awesome song! brake a leg at your audition!

you should do something you love, anastasia-journey to the past.

if you like the song and really know it, it will show regardless of your voice, which by the way is fanflippintastic i am sure.wahaha.
