  1. Jing-Mei Woo!

    orrr

    Rose-Hsu Jordan.

  2. I like Mei-Zhen or Jin-Wei.

I don't really know what qualifies as European...maybe Isabella, Olivia, Sophia, Victoria, or Antoinette.

  3. for her chinese name: something simpler like "min" would be nicer or if you prefer two characters than how about

    jia min

    yu fang

    xiu yi

    xiu xuan

    wan ting

but definitely not guan yin because its the name of some goddess and your daughter will DEFINITELY get teased. Da Xia sounds a bit too masculine for a girl.

out of your list, jingwei sounds the best but it also depends on how you pronounce it. jing4 wei1 would sound better. the other combinations dont really match or sound good together.

her surname is an important factor too. the surname and name shouldnt sound awkward together.

  4. I like Mei-Zhen, similar to a girl I know.

And by European name, do you mean for like a middle name or a name that people will call her by in the US?

  5. they are too overdone....how about just Ming?

  6. How about Ma-lee

  7. i like

    mingmei

    or

    mei-zhen

  8. Mei-Zhen sounds pretty..

as for the european name, like what kind?

    Greek? Italian?

i really like the name Anastacia..

  9. Mei-Zhen and you could call her Maizie.  Cute!

  10. i know that chinese name their kid based on the meaning of each character. so rather than asking someone else to name your future, why don't you find meaningful name and name the baby by yourself?

  11. I really like Mingmei

  12. Personally, I like the sound of Mingmei (pronounced ming-may?), Bo Yee (pronounced bow-yee?), and Jiao-Long (pronounced jah-OW long?)

As for American/European, if you stick to the strong, classic names you should be able to do both with one name.

    Elizabeth - Eliza Beth Bethany

Katherine / Catherine - Kathy / Cathy Kat / Cat

    Emma - Em Emmy

    Suzanna - Suzy Susie Suz

Just to name a few (with nicknames or shorten forms)

    HTH :-)

  13. i lyk mei-zhen and then for a eurpoean name i would go with Anastasia and dasha

  14. I like every name you mentioned. But I think Mingmei sound very pretty. My name in Chinese is Huang - Le - Tong so if you want to choose mine then you are welcome.

  15. Bo Yee sounds beautiful.

For a european name Bo would be acceptable,

    or

    Guan-yin - Joanna

    Mingmei - Miriam

    Da-Xia  - Dianna

    Fang-Hua - Faye

    Bo Yee - Bo,

    Jiao-Long - Jane

    Mei-Zhen - Meave

    Jing-Wei - Julie
