Help with baby nursery??? Any suggestions???

Question

I am having the hardest time deciding on how to decorate the babys room. I know for a fact I want the room to be done in pink and green (maybe light lime green). Painting the walls the light lime green color and having pink/white accents.

But I am having the hardest time finding the "perfect bedding set"... Does anyone have any suggestions???

I think that animals are the way to go (linked with a season), its a loooong time before children grow out of animals, I don't think I ever did!! Good animals are -

Bees

Butterflies

Ducks

Bunnies

Cats and Dogs also, but I think they are better for ages 5 up, the ones above are cuter and more appropriate for a nursery. :)

Ducks and bunnies are good, because they draw in that "spring" and "new life" theme...that way you can work flowers like daisies and such into the room by painting them on walls every metre or so.

The bees and butterflies (bees for a boy and butterflies for a girl) are more of a "summer" theme. Which is good, its sunny, fresh and bright, thus bringing to mind positive connotations and creating a friendly atmosphere.

Completely up to you which season you want to bring to your room, but stick to summer + spring only because they are usually prefered over autumn and winter, also a summer/spring theme works all year round, an autumn/winter one unfortunately does not. In addition, pink and green are very summery and spring-y(?!) colours.

WELL AS YOU SAY, YOU WOULD PREFER A PINK AND GREEN ROOM, I THINK YOU SHOULD GO FOR WHITE FURNITURE. AS WHITE WILL BLEND IN WITH THE COLOURS THAT YOUR SUGGESTING. IF YOU ARE RESTRICTED OF PINK AD GREEN GO FOR COLOURS SUCH AS PINK AND YELLOW OR JUST PINK AND WHITE. THE MORE NUETRAL THE BETTER.

I went with the theme Winnie the pooh - cause everyone one at my baby shower was giving me Winnie the pooh stuff.  Besides that theme will match your colours - lime green/pink - (piglet)

Tinkerbell! My best friend just had a baby girl and they did Tinkerbell, she is green and pink is a great accent, it looked really pretty they got tinkerbell wall decals and everything, they were able to find so many things to decorate the room too! Also Tinkerbell will last for years:)
