Help with bangs please please please ?

Question

I have shoulder length hair that darkish brown and some layers I thinking about bangs but I'm not sure i was thinking about a side bangs but I have to put my hair in a bun for dance so HELP

I'd like some pics

If your hair is extremely curly then there going to be sort of difficult to deal with but thats ok. If your hair is straight than it should be easier. I have side bangs and I love them. I had cross bangs but they get messed up too fast and get in your eyes. I say go for. Here are some pics of cross bangs:

Just pull you bangs back and use a clip or headband to keep them in place.

A good example of people who have bans yet have their hair up in buns frequently are Japanese Geishas.

Google around a bit to find some photos.

If you do decide you want to get bangs, you could always buy some pretty hair slides and grips to hold the bangs up at the side, like these cute ones :)

DON"T DO IT!!!!!  PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T!!!  

I was you last year!  Now it's been a year and they STILL HAVEN'T GROWN ALL THE WAY BACK!!  Every time you get bangs, you will have to grow them out.  IT WILL TAKE A YEAR.  

You can get long side swept ones, so you have the bang effect without the commitment, or you can just use a hair clip to make it look like you have side swept bangs.  That's probably your best bet :)

what's really in right now is side-bangs that are on the shorter side, they give the appearance of side-bangs but you can actually see and they look beautiful and sophisticated!

for dance i'd suggest clipping, bobby-pinning, a headband, or using hair gel to keep them out of your face...
