Help with bare minerals?

I just bought bare minerals and I just used it yesterday and I dont think I did it correctly. I bought the medium to tan kit. I was just wondering which foundation do I use with the small brush? Medium or tan? I watched the dvd, but I get questionable. Also any tips from other bare minerals users would be nice!

first u put on the bare vitamins..

then u only use one of the colors, the one that matches ur skin most.

they all come with two colors like mines comes with medium and medium beige but i only use the medium beige.

then u put on the warmth if u want and the veil last.

u use any brush and the smallest brush as a concealer.

i use the short fat bursh for the first powder and veil. and the longer brush for the blush..

take the concealer brush and draw a line on your face with the two foundations- whichever one you do not see is your shade. the other one is not the right undertone for you. the little short brush is for foundation. concealer is next (w/ the foundation). then mineral veil and warmth with the other brush.
